Rather fun. Looking forward to the complete game.

Minor things - the game would freeze and then lock the dwarf to moving in a direction until I would die or start the game.

The lack of a mouse pointer in the game made it hard to navigate the menus.

That's a amazing game, I want more of this game!!!

There's a lot I like here!  (Including little details: love the way the stack of ingots wobbles once it gets too tall.)  A few random thoughts (apologies if these are covered in other comments):

  • Several times, I was slow about getting something because I thought it wasn't usable, only to discover that getting it unlocked its use.  The first was copper ore: I gathered six (after laboriously destroying a tree) and brought it back and thought "well, that was pointless; I should wait until I find a blueprint that even uses copper ore".  The second was the dynamite upgrade, which said something about "rocks with fuses" and I thought "OK, but I haven't seen any of those, so that won't help me".  It might be nice, user-wise, to make it clearer that (a) discovering new ingots is how you discover blueprints that use them, and (b) unlocking the fuse upgrade is what makes fuses.
  • After unloading a Whole Lot of ore, I'd find the forge slowly producing more iron than I needed while the copper ore sat underneath it.  I would have loved a way to tell the forge "switch to using the X ore", the same way you can switch what's being crafted.

Minor points; overall quite good. :-)

Really fun and satisfying, I really like the sound design and the cute little item designs. Definitely looking forward to the full game!

Great job! The light mechanics and visuals are very well done. Seems slow paced at first, but you upgrade fast and keep inproving on every dive.

At first I was confused why I'me dying and why I don't have the mined ore with me. Managed to figure it out after a few death.

Fun story: I noticed your game on itch and just started playing it. Immediately got hooked. One hour in I remembered that I'm launching my own game today and have to start updating my page! Had to force myself to stop playing your game! :D

I'm done with my launch so I'm back to play a bit more. Thanks! <3

i unlocked everything the demo had to offer. i dont know more then 2 hours i was in the game. i had really fun with it and wishlisted it on steam <3
First playtrough everything was smooth. keep up the work!

Thanks a lot!

Not for me thanks, I'm done with games on dwarves. i'm looking for something new and refreshing

Pretty cool game! What's up with the backpack though? I unlocked it, it popped up next to the fire when I died, but pressing 'E' next to it does nothing.

You can store the ore you’ve farmed in it, and it won’t disappear if you die. This is useful if you’ve returned to a campfire but don’t want to head all the way to the forge.

Ahhhh right, I expected the backpack to be on my back anbd that when I die, the backpack with the ore is transported back there or something. Wasn't aware that I deliberately have to store it in there. Makes it less useful, but it does save a trip to the forge indeed.

I wish the key to leave the "Skill menu" was displayed, I did not know how to leave the "Skill menu". I thought my game was glitched, until I checked the comments and found out I had to press "e".

But other than that tiny suggestion, the game was really fun.

enjoyed it a lot

Frequently freezes on Mac Firefox for up to 10 or so seconds. First happened when clicking on the first stone, then happened when first pressing E to put stuff in the smelter box, and then again after all items were put in the box.

This was so much fun. I actually stumbled on this when looking for incremental games made in Godot, when trying to do some research for a game idea. And this was my first real incremental game I've ever played. I finished the demo, and wishlisted on Steam! :)

seems like one of the lantern upgrade are not in english

seems like you have to be viewing the skilltree above the starting skill in order to press E to leave the meny. If you press it to the right/left/down it does not work.

You can use Tab to close the skill tree.

well.... no where does it say that
